Crime Prevention

The New York campus of Defend University offers a wide array of crime prevention courses to businesses, schools, civic groups and individuals throughout the tri-state area. As a part of his law enforcement duties, Steve has been involved in teaching crime prevention for the past 20 years.

Lecture topics include identity theft/credit card fraud, crimes against the person, home safety and security, campus security/student safety, rape prevention and self-defense. All programs are taught in a relaxed, low-key atmosphere. Recently, Steve has taught at Columbia University, Pace University, IBM, Pepsi Co., and the international law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker, LLP. Steve has also lectured at the Westchester Jewish Community Center and a variety of high schools throughout the tri-state area.
